After a while, I've finally got that section of the web site up, and I've kicked it off with my own software review.

This software review is a review for Xandros Linux, the Linux distribution which has a tremendous ease of use factor. I'm also planning to do some other changes to the web site, and those who visit the forums have already noticed that I have recently added forums for other forms of expression--music, movies, art, and literature. Hopefully this will spark the site!

kick ass about the xandros, send them an email with a link and thanking them and all on behalf of the entire TKB staff and all of its users... just a thought.

I read the review, can't say I understood it all, but I read it and it's pretty damn good, considering that this is your site and you have never written a review for it, I was pretty damn happy to see something written by you...

Note: Thx for changing my u/n's in the reviews, I'll have some new ones for you very soon.

Yes, I did send them a thanks email. If I'm lucky, I'll see this review on the side of Xandros.com...

I've only used Windows, so my only question is this: will emulators work? (maybe the questions should be are there Linux SNES/Genesis emulators out there?)

I'm hoping to get myself a laptop soon, so I'm a bit more than interested if Linux is truly superior to Windows.

meh ... it's only superior if you use it for certain things ... It just depends on what you use linux for.

Yes, there are emulators for Linux.

As for if Linux is better, I'd say it definately would be if there was more commercial support.

Never used Linux before might try it soon. And it might be Xandros too.

If you want, try Knoppix.. it runs off of the CD-ROM so theres no installation, it autodetects everything, and is great for trying out.
